Manufactured in Canada, the Vortex Powerfan dryer booster kit includes a 497 CFM VTX600 inline blower, for 6 in. Dia duct, and a current sensor that will automatically turn on and off the Vortex VTX600 inline blower as required. For example, in a clothing dryer application, when the dryer is turned on, the VTX600 will automatically turn on and will stay on for 5 minutes after the dryer is turned off. This will allow the dryer to perform better and more efficiently. Both, drying time and power consumption are therefore reduced.

The ACS-5 product is a solid-state current switch with N.O. Triac outputs to control high-current line-voltage AC loads. The ACS-5 model has a factory set trip level of approximately 1 Amp and requires no field adjustment for easy installation. Internal circuits are powered by induction from the line being monitored and is cULu certified.
