Pieris japonica 'Mountain Fire' is a broadleaf evergreen that makes a unique and colorful spring-time accent plant. New leaves will be a fiery-red and stand out like flowers among the glossy, green leaves of lasts year's growth. White, pendulous flowers that look like clusters of pearls were draped throughout also emerge in spring. This is a showy shrub that can thrive in a partly shady, woodland garden. Pieris japonica 'Mountain Fire' also makes a fine looking border or specimen when grouped in a garden bed.
