Straw yellow, it expresses a very typical bouquet composed of tomato leaves, celery, citron and mint. A mineral note opens up to a dry and very fine palate, characterised by a certain acidity and a decisive richness. Balanced, full and rewarding, it closes with a finish characterised by excellent persistence.

The selections of Lis Neris are made with grapes grown in historical vineyards, the most important, vinified separately according to the variety and origin. Picol, made exclusively with Sauvignon grapes, is a white wine, vinified and left to age for almost a year in French oak barrels with a capacity of 500 litres, known as tonneaux, in order to increase its aromatic breadth without changing the characteristics of origin. The right bank of the Isonzo, with its warm and stony soils, which are decisive in the formation of a superior structure, and a climate favoured in terms of temperature range by winds of Balkan origin and by those that blow in from the nearby Mediterranean, is an area of great potential for the pursuit of the Friulan production of Sauvignon Blanc. Lis Neris' Friuli Isonzo Sauvignon DOC “Picol” is a white of surprising finesse.

Ideal with all courses of a meal, it pairs well with rich fish dishes, particularly fish grills. Grilled scallops.
