First designed in 1955, the lamp evolved from Mouille's earlier exploration of sculptural, articulated lighting, following the success of his Lampadaire 3 Bras Pivotants. True to its name, the Araignee lamp features five elegantly delineated arms that stretch outward like the legs of a spider, each terminating in a tiltable, shell-like reflector.

These reflectors can be adjusted with 270 degree of rotation and 55 degree of inclination, allowing for dynamic, directional illumination throughout the room. Crafted from lacquered aluminium with a contrasting white interior, the Araignee lamp is available in black or white finishes, offering both timeless appeal and bold visual impact.
