In 1971, Gong, led by the brilliant David Allen and his wife Jiri Smythe, became active not only in the progressive rock scene, but also in the Canterbury music scene, where they gained a worldwide following, In 1971, the band signed with the emerging French label BYG and released their second album, "Camembert Electric", which marked a revolutionary growth in the band's sound and established their unique style. The band signed with Virgin Records, the up-and-coming progressive rock record label of the time, and the success of the "Radio Gnome Invisible" trilogy catapulted the band to a more major scene. This is a live album of the tour that Gong did after the release of "You". With the release of "You," Gong's masterpiece album, the band began a European tour in September 1974. The November 4 concert in Bremen, Germany was recorded and broadcast for a local radio station. This release is a remastered version of the audio master used for the broadcast.Featuring the technical and powerful playing of newly recruited drummer Rory Allen, the band performed the songs of the trilogy to perfection. The band's live band prowess is on full display on this release. Included as bonus tracks are four additional songs from the band's appearance on a BBC radio program featuring the best lineup in the band's history!
