Day 1: Sandakan / Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre / Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre / Bilit Rainforest Lodge / Kinabatangan River Cruise

• Begin with a pick-up from your hotel or Sandakan Airport.
• Visit the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre to observe orangutans in their natural habitat and learn about their rehabilitation.
• Continue to the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre to discover the world’s smallest bear species.
• Travel two hours through countryside villages to Bilit Jetty, followed by a short boat ride to Bilit Rainforest Lodge.
• Enjoy a welcome drink, check-in, and lunch at the lodge.
• In the evening, embark on a scenic river cruise along the Kinabatangan River to spot wildlife such as proboscis monkeys, rare birds, and possibly pygmy elephants.
• Return to the lodge for dinner and relax for the night.

Day 2: Gomantong Cave / Sandakan

• After breakfast, check out and travel to the Gomantong Caves.
• Explore this fascinating limestone cave system, home to millions of bats and swiftlets, and learn about traditional bird nest harvesting.
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Sandakan with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
