The Electra Ring is crafted from recycled 925 sterling silver and plated with 24-karat gold. It is entirely handmade and features Kyanite stones.

The Greek name “Elektra” is believed to have originated as a Mycenaean name, though it is not identified in Linear B tablets. The name means “bright, shining.” In Greek mythology, Electra (or Elektra) was the daughter of Mycenaean King Agamemnon and his wife Clytemnestra. Mentioned in both the Iliad and the Odyssey, she was a heroine who saved her brother’s life. Electra also became one of the most popular subjects in ancient Greek drama (as portrayed by Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides) and in ancient Greek vase paintings.
