Animal Collective's Panda Bear and Sonic Boom, formerly of Spacemen 3, have completed a superb collaborative album! Panda Bear, the brains behind Animal Collective, and Sonic Boom, former members of the 80's psychedelic band Spacemen 3, have released their first collaboration album on the Domino label! Panda Bear has previously released solo albums. Although Sonic Boom has participated in Panda Bear's solo albums "Tomboy" (2011) and "Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper" (2015) in the form of mixing and co-production, this is the first time that the two have collaborated on a full-length album. However, this is the first time that Sonic Boom has collaborated on all of the songs on this album.The album consists of a collection of songs inspired by Sonic Boom's own collection of American doo-wop and rock 'n' roll from the 50s and 60s, with the preceding single "Go On" featuring The Troggs' 1967 song "Give It to Me," a The preceding single, "Go On," samples The Troggs' 1967 song "Give It to Me. Other songs by artists such as the great rock 'n' roller Eddie Cochran and the Everly Brothers, a great American harmonizer, are arranged by Sonic Boom in a psychedelic and pop style, with Panda Bear's performance and vocals adding to the mix. The addition of Panda Bear's performance and vocals makes this album catchier and brighter than any of the duo's solo songs to date.
