The Lady and the Unicorn original tapestries are the most celebrated set that have survived from the medieval period. They consist of six which can now be found in the Cluny Museum, Paris. These tapestries depict the five human senses and the sixth is called "To My Only Desire".

This 'Sense of Sight' tapestry shows the Lady looking into a mirror, depicting the sense of sight. Note fleur' (thousand flowers) covered with tiny flowers, among which can be seen pansies, violets, primroses and periwinkles.
