This 19th Century French commode has beautiful marquetry and the two front drawers have been crafted to create a mini breakfront upon which the shaped marble top sits. The marble is in excellent condition and is in a striking pink shade. This antique commode has wonderful marquetry decoration to each side, typical of high quality furniture. Raised on tapering, gilt metal capped legs, this superb antique French commode has original well cast ormolu mounts and original drawer handles.
