The Unibind 60 Pro is Peleman's most popular thermal binding machine, sold as a complete bundle with the machine plus 10 premium hardcovers — ready to bind your first 10 books out of the box. Designed for real estate teams, photographers, copy shops, and busy offices, the Unibind 60 Pro produces a finished hardcover book, pitch deck, photo album, or report in about 90 seconds. No coils, no wires, no punching, no warm-up. The same Peleman SteelBinding™ technology powered the original Apple photobook program with Steve Jobs in 2006 and Kodak's retail photo kiosks.
The Unibind 60 Pro is a desktop thermal binding machine that uses heat to fuse a resin-loaded steel spine to your loose pages, producing a finished hardcover or softcover book in about 90 seconds. It's the bundled version of our flagship Unibind 60 series, sold with 10 premium hardcovers so you can start binding immediately. The 60 Pro is the most widely used thermal binding machine in our catalog — trusted by real estate brokerages (Keller Williams, Century 21, RE/MAX, Realty One Group, Compass), photography studios, copy shops, marketing teams, school districts, and major retail operations including Walgreens.
Place your stack of loose pages into a Peleman thermal hardcover (which has a strip of solid resin built into the spine). Insert the cover into the slot on top of the machine, press start, and the heating element melts the resin around your pages. After about 90 seconds — including a brief cooling period — you have a finished, bookstore-quality bound book. Magnets in the machine activate only when a Peleman spine is detected, keeping the heating element safe.
The Unibind 60 Pro and Unibind 60 Deluxe use the same machine. The Pro is bundled with 10 premium Peleman hardcovers so you can start binding the day it arrives, while the Deluxe ships without covers (you choose and order them separately). For most first-time buyers, the Pro bundle is the better value.
The Unibind 60 Pro binds 1 to 60 sheets of standard 20 lb paper per book. For higher page counts, see the Unibind 120 (up to ~120 sheets) or the Unibind 8.1 and 8.2 (up to ~340 sheets). All Peleman thermal covers work across machines — only the page capacity per book differs.
Each book takes approximately 90 seconds on the Unibind 60 Pro, including heating and a brief cooling period. There is no warm-up — the machine is ready to bind as soon as it's powered on.
The Unibind 60 Pro is engineered for Peleman thermal covers — Unicover hardcover, Unicover Flex softcover, and Crystal Flex clear formats. Generic third-party thermal covers may produce inconsistent binds and can void the machine warranty. Magnets inside the machine activate only when a Peleman spine is detected.
Yes. The Unibind 60 Pro is widely used for hardcover and lay-flat photo albums. This is the same Peleman thermal binding technology Apple piloted with Steve Jobs in 2006 and that Kodak licensed for its retail photo kiosks. Peleman has supplied photobook binding equipment to Kodak, Canon, Epson, and Fuji for nearly two decades.
Yes. Every Unibind 60 Pro ships with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects. An optional extended warranty is available for additional coverage.
