Installation Pro-Tip:

Because the RT9X9I uses a relatively small plane, placement is critical. Mount the tabs as far outboard as possible, but ensure they are at least 2 inches in from the side of the boat (the chine) to avoid pulling air into the prop or losing lift during turns. Always apply a high-quality marine sealant like 3M 4200 to the mounting screws to prevent transom rot while still allowing for future removal.
