It gives more surface presence than a quiet walking lure while still covering water better than a pure blooping popper.

Work it with rod sweeps, short pops, and pauses.

A faster cadence can trigger aggressive fish chasing bait, while slower sweeps and longer pauses help when fish are following underneath before committing.

It is strongest around reefs, rock ledges, current lines, bait schools, surf edges, and bluewater casting zones.

It is not the lure for tiny bait or fish glued to bottom; use it when predators are looking upward and willing to hit a large surface target.
