I found this large unused spoil of New England Electrical Works wire in Corncord, NH, not very far from Lisbon, NH where it was produced c. 1900 I believe. I think it’s a beautiful thing, with the wooden spool and wire still wrapped by the original, unbroken printed label, listing the Park Avenue address of the company's New York sales room on one side and the company info on the other. Founded in 1898, New England Electrical Works later became New England Wire Technologies, which is still in operation.
