That's why we suggest using this chart as a starting point, and monitoring their weight and adjusting rations as needed. We recommend feeding twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available.

When switching diets, it's important to transition your cat or kitten as it takes time for their digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in Acana. Over a 10-14 day period, gradually mix in Acana, increasing the amount each day so that by the end of 2 weeks you are feeding 100% Acana. Serve dry or lightly moistened. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in an airtight container in a cool, dry location.
