Young Guns (1988):
Directed by Christopher Cain, this film revitalised the Western genre with a modern twist and an 80s rock soundtrack. The movie stars Emilio Estevez as Billy the Kid, Charlie Sheen as Dick Brewer, Kiefer Sutherland as Doc Scurlock, and Lou Diamond Phillips as Chavez. When their mentor, John Tunstall (Terence Stamp), is murdered by the corrupt Lawrence G. Murphy (Jack Palance), Billy and his band of Regulators seek revenge across the New Mexican frontier.

Young Guns II (1990):
Directed by Geoff Murphy, the sequel continues Billy the Kid’s saga. As Billy (Estevez) and his gang are captured, he ingeniously escapes and frees his men. With the Lincoln County Wars behind them, they flee to Mexico, pursued by Sheriff Pat Garrett (William Petersen). The film features a memorable soundtrack including Bon Jovi’s Oscar®-nominated and Golden Globe®-winning song "Blaze of Glory." Christian Slater also joins the cast in this action-packed follow-up.
