This extremely pretty acrostic 'DEAREST' ring is crafted in solid 15ct Gold.  It features 7 gemstones,  comprising a diamond, 2  emeralds, an amethyst, ruby, sapphire and topaz.    The first letter of each precious gemstone spells out the word, 'DEAREST'.   The  beautiful engraving all the way around the band, and the individual bezels inside which the gems sit, really make this ring unique.

This very romantic antique ring would have been a sentimental gift given to to a loved one as a token of affection, and to demonstrate that the giver held them as their 'dearest'.    
 
In fabulous condition, with just some age related wear you would expect from  a ring of this age,  it is currently a UK ring size N 1/2, which is a US size 7.  It is re-sizable by your local jeweller, and it weighs 2.34g.

This ring is not marked but has been tested and verified by a jeweller, and by myself with both acid and my gold testing machine.
