Very cute 1950s dress and cropped jacket in a gray silk herringbone fabric. The scoop neckline features a detachable buttoned “dickie” with additional detachable large bow which is attached by large gray buttons. The dress is beautifully constructed and has a very flattering fit. Unlined. Metal zipper up the back hidden under a zipper placket that is disguised as a pleat. The matching jacket has padded shoulders and a cute polka dot silk lining. Three button closure. Cut-away design.

This suit is in very good condition. No flaws to note. No labels. It was likely a custom tailored set. It was worn as a going away outfit for a bride in 1956.
