Do I need new hardware to install this gasket?

The gasket uses factory bolt holes — your existing header bolts will work. If bolts are stripped or corroded, replacement hardware from any fastener supplier will fit the same mounting pattern.

Can I reuse the old gasket or does it need replacement?

Once removed, exhaust gaskets lose their compression and won't reseal reliably. Install fresh; old gaskets cause exhaust leaks and can lead to power loss and rough idle.

What prep work is needed before installation?

Clean both mounting surfaces (manifold and head) with a wire brush or gasket scraper to remove carbon and old gasket material. Surface contact matters — any debris will compromise the seal.
