meditrol® FOB Test

The meditrol® FOB Test from medichem is an immunochromatographic rapid test for the qualitative detection of human hemoglobin and occult blood in stool samples. The cassette test is suitable as an aid in the diagnosis of pathologies, such as occult blood, in the lower gastrointestinal tract.

Since the test is based on an immunochemical method, no special diet needs to be performed before application. Therefore, the test can be carried out conveniently and quickly at the point-of-care. The result can be read on the test cassette just 5 minutes after test execution. The test has high sensitivity and specificity and includes all materials needed for test execution.
