Description:
With Annie Haslam's crystal voice, John Taut's classical acoustic piano, and a gorgeous orchestral sound, Renaissance has established its own unique sound style in the progressive rock scene and is one of the few successful Renaissance is one of the few British progressive rock bands that have established their own unique sound style in the progressive rock scene and have achieved success in the United States. In 1977, Renaissance moved to WEA Records and released their third album "Azure d'Or" in February 1979, and went on a US tour to promote the album. The concert in Asbury Park, New Jersey was recorded for the popular American radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour" to promote the album, and was broadcast on the BBC in the UK, but was never released as an album. The original broadcast masters have now been found, and the album has been re-mastered to the best of its ability for this release. The setlist for the concert consisted of 10 songs, 8 of which were broadcast at the time, but the remaining 2 songs were included in this release, making this live album a complete recording of the concert. This live album is a complete recording of the concert, featuring songs from the new album, the last of the golden era of the Renaissance, as well as songs from the previous album "Song for All Seasons," which was a hit in the U.K. for the first time in its home country, and representative songs of the band's career. This is a highly anticipated work for the fans! Imported domestic edition (with obi and bilingual English booklet)
